Job summary

Integral UK Ltd is seeking a mobile maintenance technician to oversee water systems. The role involves preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure compliance with health regulations. Candidates should have experience in legionella management and related water treatments. Training on access platforms and water management will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with HSG274 and Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Strong background in water treatment and hygiene.

Job description

To work with the Site FM & other team members, in implementing maintenance services. These include planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in accordance with building operating manuals, contract service levels, and current regulations.

Training will be provided on access platforms and water management as a minimum.

• This will be a mobile role
• Carry out day-to-day monitoring of water systems within designated buildings
• Assist technical staff in maintenance and repair activities
• Undertake non-technical engineering maintenance tests
• Keep plant and work areas clean and tidy
• Perform weekly/monthly tasks on water systems to ensure compliance
• Undertake failsafe & servicing of TMVs
• Carry out cleaning & disinfection of cold water storage tanks and associated plant
• Demonstrate working experience with HSG274, Approved Code of Practice L8, and Health Care Memorandum (HTM)
• Water monitoring and tank inspection
• Must have a strong background in legionella, water treatment, water hygiene, or chemicals
• Plumbing qualifications up to NVQ Level 2 (desirable)
• Risk assessor qualifications (desirable)
