Water Hygiene Engineer

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits: 24k - 36k + Training + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella Management company, covering Public and Private clients in the West London region. This role would suit someone who is confident in carrying out various water hygiene duties in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines, who is looking to take a step up and gain a qualification in Legionella Risk Assessing. Experience & Qualifications:

1. Will have extensive hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a recognised and established Water Hygiene Management company.
2. Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
3. Excellent IT skills, familiar with updating onsite logbooks.
4. Experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments would be beneficial to the role, but training can be provided.
5. Excellent communication skills.

The Role:

1. Legionella sampling and temperature monitoring.
2. TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
3. Flushing of little-used outlets.
4. Showerhead cleans and descales.
5. Cleaning and disinfecting cold water storage tanks.
6. Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
7. Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
