Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum BEng/BSc in Geography, Hydrology or similar.
• Desirable to have an MEng or MSc in environmental discipline, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting environmental impact assessments, including flood risk and water quality assessments.
• Input to water-environment design: river diversions, culverts, bridges and scour protection.
• Help solve project needs with water treatment and SuDS design, considering space, cost and schedule.
• Coordinate with junior colleagues to deliver projects within programme and budget.
• Support development of strategy/concept drainage design with SuDS.
• Assist with environmental permit applications and preparation of calculations, reports and plans.
• Conduct site visits and attend meetings.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, regulators, planners and others.
