Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an ECC Project Manager to deliver projects from appraisal through to delivery, in line with HM Treasury governance. You will lead a delivery team, manage stakeholders, and ensure programmes and commercial objectives are met.

The role requires a degree in engineering or project management, professional qualifications (APM/Prince2), and experience with NEC contracts within the Water and Environment sector. Agile working is available.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or project management is required.
• APM or Prince 2 qualification is preferred.
• Full membership, or working towards, of a relevant chartered body (MAPM, MCIWEM, MICE, MCIOB, MRICS, etc.) is expected.
• Project management experience across multiple disciplines and contract/procurement; NEC contracts experience.
• Experience delivering projects in Water and Environment sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of projects from appraisal, planning, detailed design to construction and delivery.
• Oversee health & safety, commercial, risk & value, and budget governance per HM Treasury requirements.
• Lead the delivery team and coordinate key stakeholders.
• Maintain excellent communications with the client and wider programme team.
• Manage the project programme with multidisciplinary delivery teams.
