Role: Trainee Water Engineer - No Experience needed
Location: Rugby
Salary: from £24,960 p/a plus package based on a 40 hour week + overtime

Carrington West are pleased to announce an exciting new role with our client who operate in the Water and data capture sectors.

This role full training is available so no prior experience is needed. The successful candidates will work as part of a 2 or 3-man team carrying-out installation, calibration and maintenance of Flow and Water Quality equipment throughout the UK. The installation and maintenance work will require you to enter and work in confined spaces within the waste-water networks, therefore you will need to be physically fit and hold a full UK driver's license.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Long-distance traveling and operating of company vehicles in a safe manner (including weekly safety checks)
  2. Flexibility as additional work hours may be required - Note some of the work will involve staying away
  3. Installation and maintenance of Flow Monitoring and Water Quality Equipment
  4. Following all company procedures and protocols
  5. Safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment
Essential and Desirable Skills/ Experience:
  1. Hold a UK driving license
  2. Literate, numerate, organised along with possessing a good work-ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
  3. Ability to work away from home for up to 3 to 4 nights a week and subsistence will be paid at £25 per night + paid accommodation
  4. Be able to work flexible shift times and adapt to changing work schedules.
  5. Ideally have relevant field service experience, however full training will be given to candidates who bring practical skills and a good attitude.
  6. For this role you must live in or around the Rugby area
