Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Water Engineer in Glasgow to support water treatment and hygiene services across client sites. You will ensure systems remain safe, compliant, and efficient, with opportunities to lead on-site as required.

The role suits someone with water hygiene experience and a drive to work across varied client environments. A full UK driving licence and DBS checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, or related engineering discipline.
• NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Plumbing (or equivalent) desirable.
• Strong IT skills and ability to use mobile apps and digital reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out water treatment and hygiene tasks in line with company procedures and current legislation.
• Complete allocated work within agreed timescales, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Accurately record and submit job documentation in real time via electronic systems.
• Act as lead engineer or responsible person on-site where required.
• Maintain strong Health & Safety standards for yourself, colleagues, and clients.
