Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading utilities contractor for an experienced Domestic Plumber to join a growing field based Water Efficiency Team. Excellent stability with pre-booked appointments, a company van, full training and performance incentives.

You will visit residential customers to carry out water efficiency surveys, plumbing repairs, install water saving products and provide outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 plumbing qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' plumbing experience.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance in domestic properties.
• Conduct water leakage inspections and water efficiency surveys.
• Diagnose and repair leaking toilets, taps and fixtures.
• Install taps, showers, toilet fittings and other water saving devices.
• Record job information via mobile device or tablet.
• Take meter readings and collect customer information where required.
• Provide professional advice and excellent customer service.
• Work independently to manage appointments and workload.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements.
