Job summary

The ideal candidate will possess a City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing, a Full UK Driving Licence, and experience in customer service. This role offers a guaranteed base salary, additional bonuses, and a company van among other benefits.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and a Full UK Driving Licence.
• National Water Hygiene 'Blue Card' is preferred but training can be provided.
• Previous experience in plumbing work and strong communication skills are crucial.

Water Efficiency Plumber Role

The role involves delivering free water efficiency visits to households, helping reduce water usage, lower carbon emissions, and save customers money.

The project works in partnership with major water utility providers and a wide range of clients across different sectors. Services cover all aspects of water demand management, providing measurable benefits for both clients and their customers.

Water Efficiency Plumber Responsibilities

• Visit households to assess plumbing fixtures, install water‑saving devices, repair leaks, and provide tailored advice to help reduce water consumption.
• Carry out water efficiency assessments within customer homes.
• Install and fit water‑saving devices such as taps, showers, and toilets.
• Measure flow rates, check for leaks, and take meter readings.
• Accurately record information using a bespoke mobile application.
• Educate customers on sustainable water use and encourage positive behavioural changes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and provide feedback on service improvements.
• Flexibility required, with occasional weekend work.

Water Efficiency Plumber Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing (essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
• GCSEs in Mathematics and English
• National Water Hygiene “Blue Card” (preferred – training can be provided)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
