Are you ready to bea key member of our Water team, driving growth, innovation andsustainability in the UK Water Sector?

This is anexciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing and innovative team. Asour Civil Engineering Lead, based in the UK, you will report to theDirector of Water and help grow the team and the business, building onthe capabilities of Egis water and engineering professionals aroundthe world.

As an ambitious professional with plentyof experience, you will have a background in the UK Water Sector witha good understanding of the challenges it faces as it adapts to achanging climate and increasing population. Your role will involveworking with the UK Director of Water to help foster growth within ourcore team, collaborating with peers across all disciplines anddeveloping existing and new relationships with clients to maximize ourcombined offerings and secure new wins.

  • Network and support business developmentopportunities
  • Contribute to UK Water Strategy to identifygrowth areas and opportunities
  • Support in recruitment anddevelopment of team
  • Develop and maintain relationships withclients, partners and stakeholders
  • Provide technical andexpert advice to clients, manage and deliver projects
  • Collaborate with wider Egis teams to develop market leadingand innovative services to our clients

Qualifications

  • BEng orMEng in Civil, Water or Environmental Engineering disciplines
  • Chartered member of a professional institution such as CIWEM,ICE, IStructE etc.
  • Demonstrable client, contractor orconsultancy experience in UK Water Sector
  • Experience in thetechnical delivery of water and wastewater engineering projects,ideally including treatment schemes and/or pipeline design
  • Experience of working on environmentally focused waterengineering projects such as river and coastal engineering
  • Experience of working collaboratively in multi-disciplinarydesign teams, including environmental and sustainability
  • Knowledge of current UK water industry standards andregulations
  • Experience of each stage in the design cycle fromconcept, feasibility, detailed design, construction and commissioning
  • Experience working in D&B environment
