Aldwych Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Civil / Water Design Engineer to support a major UK water company through a long-term client secondment.

You will review external consultants' proposals, provide technical recommendations and help shape projects from early feasibility through to detailed design. You'll remain permanently employed by Aldwych Consulting, with a long-term career path in water and drainage engineering beyond the secondment, gaining valuable client-side experience in the water

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsabilités

• Support SuDS, rainwater management and nature-based solutions.
• Investigate surface water challenges and recommend engineering solutions.
• Review and challenge external consultants' designs.
• Support projects from feasibility through to detailed design.
• Develop technical scopes for design partners.
• Present recommendations to clients and project stakeholders.
• Support project governance, reporting and risk management.
• Consider wider benefits including flood reduction, biodiversity and water quality.
