Job summary

Affinity Water is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead major civil engineering capital projects, from concept to completion, enhancing asset performance and network resilience for customers and communities.

You will work within the Asset Strategy and Capital Delivery team, coordinating design, construction, commissioning and handover while ensuring safety, governance and value for money.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction or related discipline.
• Proven experience managing civil engineering capital projects.
• Experience administering NEC4 contracts.
• Strong project controls, financial management and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation including CDM Regulations.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of capital projects, typically valued between £1m and £20m.
• Manage projects through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Control project scope, programme, budget, risk and quality.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Manage NEC4 contracts and support procurement activities.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental and governance requirements.
