Our projects include innovative wetland solutions that reduce carbon emissions and cutting-edge catchment strategies leveraging the latest technology to minimize storm overflows.
We are seeking expressions of interest from Wastewater Modellers to join our team in Scotland. You will receive guidance from your local team and the wider Stantec community, with our Storm Overflows Academy helping you develop your skills. Your responsibilities will include providing technical input on stormwater overflows, model maintenance, and water management, as well as assisting with bids and cost estimates within our project frameworks. You will also participate in planning, programming, and coordinating urban drainage projects, ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance, and best practices.
You will be part of an interdisciplinary team of 175 personnel across 13 UK offices and Pune, collaborating with clients and partners to deliver projects throughout the UK & Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative team working on a specialist modelling framework and industry-leading projects. The role is based in Glasgow or Edinburgh with hybrid working arrangements.

To be considered, you must have a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject, and ideally be a member of a relevant industry institution such as ICE or CIWEM. Candidates should have technical experience in urban drainage modelling and familiarity with InfoWorks ICM and other GIS packages. Excellent communication skills for report writing and presentations are essential, along with a commitment to our values of client focus and service excellence.
