Wastewater Catchment Planner / Modeller / Engineer - Scotland Graduate Programme

RPS is growing, and we are looking to strengthen our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices with Graduate Wastewater Engineers, Modellers, and Planners.

The graduate roles in our strategy team will combine office and home-based work, with opportunities for site visits for data collection.

Career pathways include Wastewater Engineering, Modelling, and Planning, with key locations in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Your Responsibilities:

• Data handling and analysis of large datasets
• Survey planning and supervision
• Use of GIS software such as MapInfo, QGIS, and ArcGIS
• Statistical analysis
• Preparation of reports
• Hydraulic sewer network modelling with InfoWorks ICM
• Catchment planning, risk assessment, and intervention strategies
• Client and stakeholder engagement
• Development and documentation of software tools

About You:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science
• Modules in wastewater, hydraulics, GIS, or flood risk are desirable
• Good communication and writing skills
• Team problem-solving ability
• Experience with Excel and computing skills
