Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical expertise and administration in maintenance related areas.
2. Communicate and escalate to management of workshop related asset, tooling and equipment issues, maintain repair and quality standards.
3. Apply for tools and/or equipment to the supervisor or workshop manager.
4. Perform all workshop activities that are necessary for the smooth running of the workshop within the function in consultation with the supervisor or workshop manager.
5. Raise the quality of services in the workshop.
6. Find solutions to complex problems.
7. Pass information found on the resolution of complex faults through communication with the supervisor or workshop manager.
8. Ask and/or provide unsolicited advice to immediate supervisor, leading to improved results and continuity of the organization.
9. Ensure correct and timely communication to the customer.
10. Complete additional courses if requested.
11. Inspect exterior bodywork, cladding and insulation for faults and defects.
12. Repair exterior bodywork, cladding and insulation.
13. Perform basic inspection of pump and delivery system to ensure correct operation.
14. Re-set pump and delivery system back to manufacturer settings (pressures, speed, tolerance, etc).
15. Inspect access ladder and walkway for faults and defects.
16. Replace access ladder and walkway with like-for-like components.
17. Identify faults in all pipework types, including pressurised delivery systems and vacuum delivery systems.
18. Competently replace pipework seals, relief valves, one-way valves, gauges, outlet seals - 'cold' work.
19. Inspect tanker barrel and sub-structure for faults and defects.
20. Inspect tanker barrel and sub-structure for faults and defects to PSSR, ADR and Interior inspection (confined space).

Basic Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years technical & industry related experience.
2. Medium level of technical training Truck & trailer.
3. Ability to communicate with stakeholders internally.
