Job summary

Douglas City Council is seeking a motivated and organised Technical Assistant to provide maternity cover within our Waste Services team. This varied role combines customer service, administration and data handling to support refuse, recycling and commercial waste operations.

You will act as a key contact for residents and businesses, help promote environmental initiatives and ensure accurate records and invoicing are maintained. A full driving licence is required and IT skills are essential.
