Job summary

Mackenzie Fit Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Waste Operative to join our client's team at their Loanhead facilities. This role involves collecting, transporting and disposing of waste from construction sites and council renovations, with emphasis on health and safety.

Hours are 7:45am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime after 40 hours. The position offers weekly pay, a route to permanent employment after 13 weeks, and benefits including a canteen, a company pension, and 28 days of

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport waste materials from designated locations to disposal sites.
• Operate waste management machinery safely and effectively.
• Inspect waste containers and equipment for maintenance needs.
• Sort recyclable materials from construction waste to promote sustainability.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area in line with health and safety rules.
• Report incidents or hazards to the supervisor.
