Job summary

Supreme Recruitment is seeking a Refuse and Recycling Site Operator to join a busy site in Ruislip, West London. You will be responsible for the safe operation of waste compactors, balers and related plant, helping to maximise site capacity and maintain efficiency.

The role requires experience operating heavy mobile or fixed plant machinery, CPCS/NPORS or equivalent qualifications, and a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy mobile or fixed plant machinery.
• Experience in refuse/recycling/waste management desirable.
• Valid plant operator qualifications such as CPCS or NPORS.
• Strong commitment to health and environmental standards.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Operate waste compactors, balers and other plant machinery safely.
• Carry out routine maintenance checks and report faults.
• Direct visiting vehicles and maintain site traffic safety.
• Inspect loads for non-compliant waste and ensure environmental rules.
• Maintain clean, tidy and safe work areas.
