Job description

The Estates & Facilities Division is seeking Bank Staff to support the activities of the Waste Management Team (Waste and Recycling Services) at New Cross Hospital.

The Waste Management Team aims to provide excellent support services to the Trust, its patients, visitors, and staff.

You will be part of a modernising team providing waste management services to support the Trust's regulatory obligations.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals who can work well independently and as part of a team.

Bank working, on an ad hoc basis to cover the needs of the service, offers an ideal opportunity to gain experience in a hospital environment. This knowledge can be beneficial when permanent positions become available.

You must have a flexible approach to working hours to meet the demands of the role; this flexibility may also suit your needs.

All training and a uniform will be provided.

Main duties of the job

  • Undertake routine waste collections and support waste and recycling activities as instructed by line management within your level of competence.
