St Helens Council is seeking an Environmental Team Assistant to deliver recycling and waste operations across the borough, working closely with Environmental Team Leaders to ensure safe collection and efficient routes.

Role involves outdoor work in all weather, assisting with vehicle safety and communication with managers, colleagues and residents to maintain a clean, orderly borough.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a quality recycling and waste operation across the borough in support of the local community.
• Assist Environmental Team Leaders with safe use of vehicles and with reverse parking procedures.
• Follow safe working practices and health & safety policy; communicate with managers, colleagues and the public as required.
