Job summary

Veolia in Cambridge is hiring a Class 2 driver to join our waste collection teams. You will drive to planned collection locations, move and empty multiple waste containers, and perform daily vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence valid and up to date CPC / Digi card.
• Able to manage time effectively and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow safety and driving regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple waste containers.
• Perform daily checks on the vehicle as per operator handbook.
• Input all information into the onboard system and keep paperwork up to date.
• Comply with traffic laws and ensure loads meet safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean carriageway and clear spillages as needed.
