Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a long-established industrial manufacturer in North Derbyshire. This role involves working on a breaker belt within a busy recycling and manufacturing environment, sorting and inspecting materials and removing contamination to keep production moving.

Shifts are 4 on 4 off, days and nights, with an hourly rate of £20.37 and full PPE provided. A blood test is required at induction, and regular health monitoring applies.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste, recycling, production or similar environments preferred.
• Willing to undergo induction health checks, including a blood test.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in hot, dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate the breaker belt within a busy recycling and manufacturing setting.
• Sort, inspect and remove contamination to ensure correct processing.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards around conveyors and heavy equipment.
• Follow strict health and safety procedures and support production targets.
