Job summary

Veolia in Mansfield is seeking a team member to operate mobile plant and baler as part of an efficient waste processing facility. You will maintain MRF plant equipment, perform daily checks and liaise with the facilities supervisor to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires operating at the MRF with attention to throughput and quality, completing documentation and adhering to safety standards. A weekend rota is included with shifts from 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm.

Qualifications

• Yellow plant licences required; loading shovel, telehandlers and 360 excavator licences are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant and baler as part of the role.
• Maintain efficient operation of MRF plant equipment and perform checks.
• Liaise with facilities supervisor to keep operations smooth.
• Ensure materials are processed promptly for maximum throughput.
• Meet tipping/loading turnaround times.
• Inspect input material and report non conforming loads.
• Inspect output material to meet customer specs.
• Keep the site clean and manage spillages.
• Complete related documentation accurately and on time.
