Job summary
Veolia is seeking a proactive Waste Operative in Northampton to help our teams manage waste resources safely and efficiently. You will wear PPE, move and load waste, and report any contamination or safety concerns to the team.
You must work well in a collaborative environment and hold a 360 and grab license. Hours are 40 per week, 08:00-17:00 with some flexibility, and the role offers a competitive salary with Veolia benefits.
Qualifications
- Experience in an operational environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- 360 & grab licenses required.
Responsibilities
- Wear PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Move and load waste as directed.
- Report contamination and non-compliant waste or batteries.
- Report all safety and environmental concerns to supervisors.
