Job description

We are currently seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join a dedicated waste collection team in Exeter. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that plays a vital part in maintaining cleanliness and sustainability in our local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the collection of household or commercial waste as part of a small team


• Riding on the collection vehicle and alighting at scheduled stops


• Safely handling and loading refuse bins onto the rear of the vehicle


• Complying with all health and safety procedures and maintaining a professional approach at all times

Candidate Requirements:

• Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the work


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in all weather conditions


• Punctual and dependable, with a commitment to early starts


• Previous experience in waste management desirable

Details:

• 06:00 am start, Job till finish


• Based in Exeter


• Pay rate is £12.66 per hour on PAYE Accrued or £14.19 per hour on PAYE Advanced. You chose which model suits you best.
