Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Waste Operations Officer to join the Recycling and Waste Services team in Leicester. You will monitor waste data, assist with finances, and support duty of care paperwork while contributing to supervision and procurement of waste contracts.

You will develop Excel reporting skills and will be trained on weighbridge software, with opportunities to operate mobile plant as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• WAMITAB CoTC Level 4 or above; First Aid at Work training or willingness to gain.
• Experience using MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report waste data and finances.
• Assist with supervision and procurement of waste contracts.
• Use MS Excel for data reporting and analysis.
• Learn to operate the weighbridge software.
• Opportunity to train to operate mobile plant.
