Job summary

A leading service provider in the East Midlands is seeking an individual to oversee and assist in delivering services as per client contracts. This role involves supervising team members, ensuring compliance with current legislation, and maintaining health and safety standards. Candidates should be prepared for emergency calls outside of normal working hours. Experience in a similar supervisory role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in delivering service in line with Client Contract.
• Supervise team members to achieve objectives and job duties.
• Ensure services are compliant with legislation.
• Maintain health, safety, and welfare of the team.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and plant per procedures.
• Complete internal and external communication timely.
• Manage drum & tanker control on site for compliance.
• Supervise subcontractors on site.
• Maintain method statements and risk assessments.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Conduct random checks on plant machinery.
• Stand in for Contract/Operations Manager.
• Available outside normal hours for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in Delivering the service in line with the Client Contract
• Supervise all team members to ensure they achieve their own objectives and job description duties
• Assist in Ensuring the Services are carried out Compliantly with Current Legislation & Environmental Legislation
• Maintain Health, Safety and Welfare of the team
• Operate and Maintain Vehicles and plant in line with company procedure and legislative requirements,
• Complete all necessary Internal and External communication and Documentation in a thorough and timely manner
• Manage all drum & tanker control on site in terms of compliance, records and actual operation in conjunction with the waste management coordinator
• Supervising the activities of subcontractors on site.
• Maintaining Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• oversight will encompass the team's execution of plant operations. Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols will also be in your responsibility.
• Carry out random checks and audits on plant machinery under remit.
