The Role

This is an excellent Waste Management Consultant role, working for an established organisation with a growing reputation in their industry. The Waste Management Consultant will leverage prior knowledge of the waste management lifecycle – ideally with experience and knowledge of the radioactive waste management lifecycle – to support both the business and its clients in the strategic development of waste disposal processes, environmental assessment plans, bids, proposals, and wider team development.

The successful Waste Management Consultant may be required to visit other sites on an ad hoc basis, including Whitehaven, Oxford, and Warrington, and will need to obtain SC clearance.

The Waste Management Consultant will join a leading organisation in the Nuclear industry, headquartered in Oxfordshire. The role offers a supportive team environment, rewarding hard work and innovative thinking. The current work pattern involves 2 days in the office, with occasional travel to other sites.

What’s Required?

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior commercial experience within a Waste Consultancy role, including experience of the full waste management lifecycle

  • Hands-on experience within the nuclear energy sector working with radioactive waste (highly desirable), and current SC clearance
