EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Join Our Team as a Waste Incident Responder (Tanker Driver)!
In this role, you’ll drive up to 44T vacuum tankers to collect and deliver liquid biosolids and other waste products within the Severn Trent network. You’ll also perform jetting and cleansing tasks.
As a first responder to pollution incidents, you’ll be the first on the scene to stop pollutions or hold them until the issue is fixed. When there are no incidents, you’ll use your experience to carry out planned maintenance at sewage treatment sites to ensure they are kept up to standard and working efficiently.
Shift hours are as follows:
4 on / 4 off 0500 – 1600 / 1300 – Midnight / 2100 – 0800

To be successful in this role you must hold at least one of the following licenses:
You will also ideally have knowledge of using vacuum tankers and also it would be brilliant if you have previous wastewaterexperience, but this is not essential.
