Vacancies have arisen across Balance of Site, FCA, and Reactors for Waste Coordinators. Please specify your preferred programme area on your application.

The purpose of this role is to provide waste support to the relevant business, programme, or project area, and to manage waste within their facilities until it is handed over to waste operations or waste services for disposal, treatment, or interim storage. The job holder will perform duties as a Radioactive Material Coordinator (RMC).

The job holder will supervise the safe, secure, and environmentally compliant generation and consignment of waste. They will intervene if necessary to prevent misconsignment of waste from plants and facilities (LoD 1 Assurance). The role involves working within the programme waste team to ensure that project and facility wastes are managed according to project-specific waste plans and MAN 2007.
