About Resource Futures
Resource Futures is an employee-owned consultancy with a vision of a sustainable world. Our focus is on designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use, and supporting and regenerating natural systems—promoting a circular economy.
The opportunity
We are seeking staff to work on projects across the UK that assist local authorities and companies in understanding and improving their waste and recycling processes. Your role will involve separating waste and recyclables into different types and recording the results. We provide training, equipment, and PPE for this work. You will be part of a small, friendly team, often traveling from our Bristol depot to various locations across the UK. Travel allowances are provided for work outside the Bristol area. Each assignment typically lasts five days.
We are particularly interested in applicants with experience driving long wheelbase vans (up to 3.5 tonnes).
Accommodation, subsistence allowance, and protective clothing are provided. The role offers flexibility and involves short-term stays away from home. No prior experience is necessary; reliability, motivation, and a hands-on attitude are essential.
Resource Futures is a Living Wage Employer. The minimum guaranteed workday is 7 hours. Pay is £12.00 per hour plus holiday pay (£1.45 per hour). We also offer a subsistence payment of £28.28 per night away from home, and £7.50 per day for breakfast. Drivers receive an extra £15 per day when operating company vehicles. Some travel expenses are reimbursed.
