As a Laundry & Dishwasher Installation and Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial laundry equipment, primarily focusing on plumbing gas safety and electrical components. This role requires an Engineer that is qualified in commercial & industrial gas safety and an electrical qualification with a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to lead installation projects. The successful candidate will ensure equipment is installed and maintained to the highest standards, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
- Lead and execute the installation of commercial laundry equipment, including chemical dosing systems, plumbing washing machines, dishwashers and associated electrical components.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and system testing in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required specifications.
- Provide clear and concise training to customers on the operation and maintenance of installed equipment.
Maintenance and Repair:- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on laundry equipment, identifying and resolving potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond to customer service calls and provide on-site troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Manage and maintain a stock of spare parts and tools.
Customer Service:- Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
Safety:- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with electrical safety standards.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Qualified to CCLNG1, CLE1 and CONGLP1PD & Electrical (C&G, NVQ or Level 3 Diploma)
- Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of commercial laundry & dishwasher equipment, particularly chemical dosing systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift and move equipment.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to travel to customer sites.
