Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Wash Plant/PTO Operative at a client site in the UK. You will operate at the bottom of the conveyor, feed pallets into the wash, remove inserts for recycling, and stack pallets as they are processed.

Strong attention to safety and safe lifting is essential in a wet, busy environment. The role offers Monday to Friday shifts with pay from £17.05 to £18.89 per hour, with a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proficient in safe lifting, carrying and moving of materials.
• Ability to identify wet floor conditions near machinery.
• Capable of recognizing water traces and surface contaminants.
• Adherence to all site safety procedures including footwear and spill reporting.

Responsibilities

• Feed pallets into the wash system from the conveyor and load for washing.
• Remove inserts from pallets and sort for recycling.
• Stack pallets automatically after washing.
• Maintain awareness of floor conditions in a wet industrial setting.

Job description

Wash Plant/PTO Operative at our clients site, who are a global leader in pallet pooling.

£17.05 per hour.

Monday to Friday:

• - 6am to 2pm
• - 2pm to 10pm

Your Time at Work

As a Wash Plant/PTO Operative you will be situated at the bottom of the conveyor with another member of staff. The empty pallets are fed into the machine from the conveyor belt and they will be washed and dried. If any of the pallets still contain inserts, you will be expected to remove and sort for recycling. The pallets will be stacked automatically once they have reached the end.

Capable of recognizing water traces and other surface contaminants, and taking appropriate precautions before starting tasks.
