North West / Temporary / £25 - £35 per hour

Looking to try something new?

TeacherActive is seeking enthusiastic and professional Tutors to support Primary and Secondary pupils across Warrington with their education. We collaborate with Local Authorities to support outreach programmes and offer bespoke education packages to pupils unable to attend school.

We work with a diverse range of students, including those with SEND, Medical Needs, and in looked after environments. Tutors will provide learning assistance, focusing on exam preparation and re-adjustment to mainstream education, with an emphasis on core skills in English and Maths, as well as behaviour management.

Work Schedule

You can work full-time or part-time, depending on your preference.

Requirements for Tutors
  • At least 6 months of experience in an educational environment
  • Experience working with pupils on a 1-1 basis
  • A passion for making a difference in young people's learning
  • Knowledge of positive behaviour strategies and helping children self-regulate
  • Understanding of working with vulnerable young people, including those in the care system and with SEND
