Job description

Job Title: Warranty Sales Co-ordinator
Reporting To: Financial Products Sales Manager
Department: Finance & Insurance Operations

Objective of the Role

To increase warranty and assistance policy renewals by utilising your sales skills when handling telephone sales enquiries and customer service calls, and updating systems accordingly. To ensure all processes and procedures comply with FSA requirements.

Hours

Shifts are between 9am-6pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm Saturdays (35 hours within these hours). Due to the nature of this position, hours may vary in line with business needs.

Main Duties
  1. Telephone sales, renewals, and enquiries
  2. Handle all external/internal sales, renewals, and enquiries proactively, utilising your sales skills at all times, following agreed procedures.
  3. Provide customers with warranty and assistance product features and benefits to aid purchase decisions.
  4. Ensure product knowledge is kept up-to-date through research and training.
  5. Handle calls within performance targets and professionally follow procedures.
  6. Accurate data capture and input, recording all activity for reporting.
  7. Operate within FSA regulations, following the sales process based on a procedural approach.
  8. Maintain a safe and tidy work area, complying with Health & Safety legislation.
  9. Report any Health & Safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
  10. Identify training needs and inform your manager or team leader.
  11. Adhere to quality management system procedures and instructions.
  12. Achieve key performance targets and participate in appraisals and team meetings.
  13. Assist with ad-hoc projects, complete administration, and provide reports as required.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Warranty Sales Manager.
  15. Maintain high performance standards as per the PMF.
  16. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
