Job summary

Grid Solutions, a GE Renewable Energy business, is seeking a Project Management Associate to support the Project Manager and coordinate key activities across warranty projects. This role interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, requiring solid project management principles and strong people skills.

Key duties include coordinating project activities, producing reports for owners, tracking progress and KPIs, interfacing with Sourcing, Procurement and Engineering, and maintaining

Qualifications

• HNC or degree in engineering discipline
• Experience coordinating multiple project activities is advantageous
• Good understanding of planning tools such as MS Project, Primavera or Smartsheet

Responsibilities

• Coordinating all the activities highlighted by the PM against the assigned projects.
• Coordinate all the customer and internal reports with the owners assigned and ensure timely closure and reporting to the PM.
• Monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and return of technical reports to the customer.
• Interface with Sourcing & Procurement and suppliers.
• Support/Raise SPT process for requisitions and follow up with Sourcing/Engineering.
• Interface with Project Controls and Site teams for timely completion of project KPIs.
• Maintain log of Bonds on warranty projects and log all project contracts and POs, including variation orders.
• Support of the purchase requisition process and follow up with Procurement.
