Job summary

Corps Security is seeking an Access Control Officer for a site in Greater London. You will be among the first contacts for Visitors, Contractors and Clients, ensuring correct access levels are granted per bookings and escalation processes.

You will work various hours covering days and nights (06:30-18:30 / 18:30-06:30 & 08:30-20:30 / 20:30-08:30). A valid SIA Front‑Line License is essential, with strong IT and security software skills to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role and organisation.
• Previous experience with administration.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• SIA Front-Line License is essential.
• Knowledge of Access Control Software, preferably C-Cure 9000.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Able to pass BS7858 vetting.

Responsibilities

• Provide access to visitors, clients and contracts using C-Cure 9000 and VM Easy.
• Comply with alarm responses, building access, and security procedures.
• Report and escalate issues to site management and Corps Security.
• Prepare clear operational reports within required timeframes.
• Liaise with external authorities including the police.
• Assist in site system maintenance and process improvements.
• Handle admin duties as directed by DSMs or clients.

Who are we looking for?

As an Access Control Officer, you will undertake crucial role for the business by ensuring consistent srvice delivery at the Site's Access Control hub. The Access Control Officer will be one of the first points of contact for Visitors, Contractors,and Clients alike and will be responsible for ensuring the correct levels of access are granted as per the booking, or the correct escalation processes are followed if there are any issues.

What you will need:

• Previous experience working ina similar role and in a similar organisation
• Previous experience with administration
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
• Knowledge of Access Control Software - preferably C-Cuure 9000
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
• Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards

What are you going to do:

• Provide access to site Visitors, Clients and Contracts by using C-Cure 900 & VM Easy
• Have full compliance with operational instructions e.g. alarm responses, building access, production
• Reporting/escalation of issues to Corps Security and on-site management
• Produce clear, logical and well-written operational reports to required timeframes
• To be fully conversant with site systes and procedures
• Support Corps Security and site management teams in identifying and implementing service improvements
• To be fully conversant with all changes in building occupiers, set up and productions and to ensure information is passed both upwards and cascaded downwards
• Maintaining safety and security through the operation of the integrated security systems
• Liaise with external authorities including the police
• Providing immediate response in the event of any major/minor incidents, ranging from responding to medical incidents, fire alarm activation/evacuations and crisis and response
• Any other admin duties that the DSMs, Supervisors or clients deems necessary or commensurate with the position
