Job summary

Edwardstow Court is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our caring catering team at Stow-on-the-Wold. You’ll help create meals, snacks and drinks that delight residents, and get to know their preferences so mealtimes are bright and enjoyable.

You’ll work alongside a friendly team, upholding high kitchen hygiene standards and providing warm, supportive service to residents and colleagues alike. Training will be provided, with additional benefits for weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• You don’t need previous formal catering experience; training will be provided.
• Having a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is helpful.
• Positive can-do attitude with good communication and care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks for residents.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness to high standards.
• Work with the catering team to support resident wellbeing.
