Richmond Villages Letcombe Regis in Oxfordshire is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week with a 5 days out of 7 pattern, including alternating weekdays and weekends. The hourly rate is £12.90 with paid breaks and excellent Bupa benefits; join a team focused on warmth and resident wellbeing.

You’ll clean spaces, manage resident rooms and laundry, and work closely with colleagues to sustain high standards and safety across the village and care home.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, domestic cleaning, hotels, care homes or customer service is valuable.
• Attitude is important; positive and friendly approach helps in care home environments.
• Good attention to detail and reliability are essential for maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Create clean, safe, and welcoming spaces throughout the village and care home.
• Maintain residents' rooms, apartments, and communal areas to a high standard.
• Handle laundry for residents and communal linen.
• Care for furnishings, carpets, windows, and other home comforts.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure exceptional service for residents.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow infection control, health and safety, and COSHH procedures.
• Bring kindness, care, and attention to detail in everything you do.
