Job summary

Kiwi House Care Home in Derby is seeking a Host to create a welcoming dining environment for residents and visitors. You will oversee dining area presentation, support mealtimes, and ensure cleanliness and safety while collaborating with kitchen and care teams.

The role requires a friendly, professional manner, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Alternate weekends and 8:30am-4:30pm shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming and well organised dining experience for residents and visitors.
• Oversee day-to-day presentation and smooth running of dining areas.
• Support residents by assisting with mealtimes and refreshments while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
• Work closely with kitchen and care teams to foster a positive environment.
