Kiwi House Care Home in Derby is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and daily living while following individual care plans.

You will monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate care records and promote dignity, independence and wellbeing. The role requires teamwork, a patient, respectful approach and a commitment to safeguarding and safety procedures. Some weekend work is required.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable or willingness to work towards this qualification.
• Care Certificate must be completed within the first three months if not already achieved.
• Previous care or care home experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing.
• Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, hydration and daily living according to care plans.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing, report changes promptly and maintain accurate care records.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities, assist with meals and accompany them to appointments and outings.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment and follow Health & Safety, infection prevention and safeguarding procedures.
• Work as part of a supportive team with occasional weekend shifts.
