Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland are delighted to be recruiting a Warehouse/Yard Operative with FLT (C/B) on a temp to perm basis for their client based in Gateshead.

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to be a vital part of a nationally recognised organisation that has a track record of investing in staff training needs. Future forklift training renewals will be funded by the company, ensuring full support for personal development.

Your role will be vital to the daily operation of the business. The successful candidate can expect a typical working day to include storing stock into correct locations safely, assisting with order picking, and loading vehicles for deliveries the following morning.

The role offers an excellent employment package, including 25 days of annual leave plus 8 days for Bank Holidays.

The position is a back shift, Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00.

Role Requirements

• Warehouse/yard experience is desirable.
• An in-date forklift licence with counterbalance and/or reach entitlement is essential.
