What You Will Be Doing:

This role involves assisting in creating meal kits by ensuring the efficient movement of goods, maintaining health & safety and food safety standards. You will operate material handling equipment (MHE), support inventory management, and contribute to operational efficiency. Reporting to the inventory team as a Tugger Driver, your responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and maintained, reporting incidents and concerns to your Line Manager.
2. Problem solving and escalating issues as needed.
3. Following Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions.
4. Coordinating the movement of goods within the facility.
5. Updating inventory systems to reflect stock movements.
6. Assisting with warehouse duties like loading/unloading and manual tasks.
7. Maintaining cleanliness and organization.
8. Participating in ad hoc projects.
9. Operating MHE safely and conducting routine maintenance checks.
10. Handling a range of products, including animal products.
11. Complying with PPE and hygiene standards.
12. Performing other duties as required.

Who You Are:

1. Experience in a warehouse or similar environment, preferably in food.
2. GCSEs in Maths & English.
3. MHE Licence (desirable).
4. Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems.
5. Knowledge of safety regulations.
6. Proficient in warehouse equipment operation.
7. Organized with good time management.
8. Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
9. Basic computer skills.
10. Attention to detail and accuracy.
