About the role
The Warehouse Trainer, working with the Warehouse Management Team, ensures all training requirements, including inductions, Manual Handling, and MHE training, are delivered with records maintained for all colleagues.
The role involves delivering professional training and development, supporting colleagues in daily duties, ensuring training is competent and compliant with standards and legal requirements.
Responsibilities include supporting the delivery and management of the Health & Safety Manual, accident investigation, hazard and near-miss investigations, rollout of Standard Operating Procedures, development of Operational Risk Assessments, Safety Month activities, weekly RAG audits, and ensuring effective hazard reporting and feedback processes.
Must have at least 6 months experience of reach truck driving
You will be responsible for
Working with the Warehouse Operations Manager and the Process and Training Manager, the Warehouse Trainer will ensure all training requirements are met, including inductions, Manual Handling, MHE training, and maintaining records.
Delivering professional training and supporting colleagues, ensuring compliance with standards and legal requirements.
Supporting the Health & Safety Manual, accident and hazard investigations, rollout of SOPs, development of risk assessments, Safety Month, weekly RAG audits, and training on SOPs and risk assessments.
Creating and delivering warehouse CI/process briefs, refresher training, Manual Handling, MHE training, and managing external qualification bookings.
Sharing best practices across the network via conference calls and team meetings.
