About the role
Working with the Warehouse Management Team, the Warehouse Trainer will ensure that all training requirements, including inductions, Manual Handling & MHE training, are delivered, with training records maintained for all colleagues.
The Warehouse Trainer is responsible for delivering professional training and development whilst supporting colleagues in the daily performance of their duties. The role will ensure all warehouse colleagues are trained competently in line with company standards and legal requirements.
Support the delivery and management of the Health & Safety Manual within the warehouse.
Accident Investigation Support.
Support Hazard and Near Miss Investigations.
Manage and coordinate the roll-out of Standard Operating Processes to all colleagues.
Support the development of Operational Risk Assessments and SOPs.
Safety Month Support.
Support Weekly RAG Audits.
Risk Assessments and SOPs are trained out accordingly, and input is provided when new/reviews are required.
Improve accident investigation quality and support accident reduction initiatives.
Deliver Safety Month successfully across all Warehouse colleagues.
Improve RAG audit CI plan to enhance the overall site safety plan and objectives.
Ensure hazard and near miss reporting processes are working effectively, with individuals receiving feedback from their Team Managers.
Must have at least 6 months experience of reach truck driving
You will be responsible for

Work with Process & Training Manager to ensure all external qualifications are booked and delivered to meet required timescales.
Share best practices with peers to ensure a consistent approach across the network through conference calls and team meetings.
