This is a permanent full-time position, working a 35-hour week, Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to work between 7am and 7pm.
The purpose of this role is to support the Clinical Supplies Operation (CSO) Warehouse team. The individual executing this scope of work will work in close collaboration with Quality, Drug Supply Managers, commercial sites, EHS, and Logistics as required.
- Collaborate with client contacts to conduct goods receipt, sampling, location, and dispensing operations within a warehouse and dispensary environment, demonstrating competent capabilities in the processes undertaken.
- Prepare clinical trial materials for dispatch, ensuring product stability, hazardous goods control, and transport security requirements are maintained.
- Handle client queries and contact designated personnel, with appropriate support from onsite leadership.
- Liaise with Quality groups to ensure proper approvals and chain of custody.
- Operate Reach and Counter-balance forklift trucks.
- Ensure the client receives the best possible service by reviewing best practices related to commercial and quality issues, maintaining high ethical standards.
- Understand and strive to meet or exceed the client’s requirements, keeping in mind the client process endpoints.
- Be flexible to work in any area of the business as required to fully meet or exceed client requirements.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the client relationship and service goals.
- Ensure uniformity, reproducibility, and reliability in all work practices.
- Work cohesively in a team environment, supporting colleagues collaboratively.
- Identify opportunities for quality and service improvements and work with the team to implement continuous improvements.
- Document data according to current BMS policies and procedures.
- Train other staff members in documentation practices as needed.
- Revise SOPs as required by the Lead Scientist or Client contact.
- Provide cover for other staff members as required and participate in weekend rota and/or overtime schedules.
- Ensure all documentation is updated, accurate, legible, and conforms to quality standards.
- Keep training records up to date and participate in training as required.
- Adhere to all customer standards in safety, housekeeping, and quality, reporting discrepancies to management.
- Handle all decisions with customer service in mind.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in a pharmaceutical warehouse environment preferred.
- Understanding of goods receipt, dispensing operations, and sampling location maintenance.
- Knowledge of clinical trial material preparation, safety, COSHH regulations, and security.
- Proficiency with electronic media, MS Office, and SAP for stock assessment.
- Understanding of GDP, GSP, and GMP principles.
- Licensed to operate Reach and Counter-balance forklift trucks.
- Ability to learn new processes quickly.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Flexible, organized, accurate, and a good team player.
