Job summary

Warburtons Widnes Depot is seeking a Warehouse Team Member to support safe and efficient warehousing operations. You will work across a range of equipment, follow health and safety standards, and help deliver consistently high-quality products for the North West region.

The role requires flexibility for night shifts, weekends, and Bank Holidays, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and adherence to site procedures. Training is provided to ensure safe, compliant day-to-day practice.

Qualifications

• Flexible shift pattern and availability for nights/weekends/bank holidays.
• Experience in a similar FMCG role is required.
• Solid written and verbal communication with good numeracy.
• Ability to work safely and consider others' safety.
• Demonstrates attention to detail with focus on quality and health & safety.

Responsibilities

The Recipe

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safety First: You will take responsibility for putting safety first and always behave in a manner that ensures your own safety and that of others.
• Team Support: You will provide basic support and guidance within the team, leading by example.
• Compliance: You will comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environment, and Food Safety standards and working practices.
• Equipment Operation: You will take responsibility for operating a wide range of equipment across the operation to deliver site standards.
• Quality Products: You will adhere to site processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation to produce and deliver unbeatable quality products.

Our Widnes Depot is a short drive from Junction 7 of the M62 and 3 miles away from Runcorn Station.

Opened in September 2021, we now run 40 routes with over 100 colleagues in distribution and our warehouse team! Our Drivers pick and deliver to retail stores and serve the local area and across the North West.
