Job summary

Warburtons is recruiting for a Warehouse Team Member to join our Distribution Depot in Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire, with initial training at Wakefield's Tuscany Park. You’ll help load/unload trailers and pick orders for delivery, contributing to our national distribution network.

We offer a permanent contract with 4 on/4 off shifts starting at 1600 or 1830, comprehensive onboarding, and a benefits package including pension and profit share.

Qualifications

• Willing to work a flexible shift pattern including days, nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
• Ideally previous experience in FMCG.
• Good written and verbal skills with a good level of numeracy.
• Ability to work safely and consider the safety of others.
• Attention to detail with focus on Quality and Health & Safety.

What You'll Be Doing?

As a Warehouse Team Member, you'll be at the heart of our operations, loading and unloading of trailers, accurately picking items to go out for delivery to customers, ensuring smooth, efficient processes while upholding our reputation for exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Safety First: You will take responsibility for putting safety first and always behave in a manner that ensures your own safety and that of others.
• Team Support: You will provide basic support and guidance within the team, leading by example.
• Compliance: You will comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environment, and Food Safety standards and working practices.
• Equipment Operation: You will take responsibility for operating a wide range of equipment across the operation to deliver site standards.
• Quality Products: You will adhere to site processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation to produce and deliver unbeatable quality products.
