Base pay range

Job Title: Warehouse Team Manager (Any 5 from 7)
Client: Leading FMCG Logistics Provider
Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 Day Working (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00) over an 8-week cycle, not alternate (including weekend working typically 1 in 2)
Salary: £30,000 - £33,500 + additional company benefits.
Role Location: Walsall (B43)

Loom Talent has been exclusively appointed on multiple Warehouse Team Manager (Any 5 from 7) vacancies by a leading FMCG business, due to rapid growth at their largest site in the network, based in Walsall.

Key Responsibilities:

• People-Centric Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team of approximately 80 colleagues to reach their full potential. Focus on staff well-being and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, promoting safety awareness throughout the transport and distribution operations.
• Performance Metrics: Evolve the organisational approach to KPIs, ensuring site standardisation.
• Performance Management: Manage under/overperformance, conduct probation reviews, return-to-works, PDPs, annual reviews, and disciplinary procedures.
• TMS Expertise: Use Transport Management Systems (TMS) and business systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth flow of goods from warehouse to customer.

Key Candidate Requirements:

• Background in Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain - Essential.
• Experience in FMCG environment - Advantageous.
• Minimum 3+ years at Warehouse Supervisor, Shift Manager, or Operations Manager level - Essential.
• Managed teams of 60+ employees/drivers - Essential.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills - Essential.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement - Advantageous.
• Familiarity with WMS systems - Essential.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Essential.
• Able to commute to Walsall 5 days a week - Essential.
