About the role

The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost-effective management of warehouse operations. It will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth running of daily warehouse activities and to provide the required level of service to customers at all times.

Main Responsibilities

You will ensure that the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatch of goods are carried out correctly, meeting productivity levels and within budget constraints, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.

You will need

To succeed in this role, you should have working knowledge of warehouse functions within the FMCG distribution industry, as well as understanding of the business and operational aspects of supervising a depot warehouse. Knowledge of the transport function would be advantageous.

As a team leader of warehouse operatives, you should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and train colleagues. Proficiency in MS Office is essential for reporting and formal disciplinary processes.
