Are you an experienced logistics professional ready to take on a key leadership role in a fast-paced distribution environment?

Our client, a leading distribution company based in Yorkshire, is seeking a proactive Warehouse Team Manager to oversee operations during the weekend + 3 additional days through the week.

The Role:

As the Warehouse Team Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the distribution centre during the late shift. Key duties include managing a dynamic team, ensuring KPIs are met, and maintaining high standards of health & safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the team, ensuring effective performance and staff engagement.
  • Monitor and report on operational KPIs, focusing on productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Coordinate with other shift managers to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
  • Manage resources effectively, including staffing, equipment, and stock levels.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a warehousing environment, as team leader, supervisor or a shift manager.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
